One weekend per summer some friends and I travel to a super secret spot in south eastern Ontario for a weekend of camping, games and some glamour kiteboarding. This year, the Lake Ontario water levels were at record highs which significantly reduced our ability to get to the site and forced us to raft our gear across a small swamp to the beach camping area.
This weekend would not be possible without the help of all those who help with setup and landscaping and most importantly the Brodeur’s who provide the location.
The people that come to this weekend are some of the most supportive people I have ever met. They bring enthusiasm for each others interests and push each other to pursue their dreams. Over the past few years of competitive sailing, these friends have continued to show interest and push me forward.
