After a long year of construction, Kingston’s new Breakwater Park and The Gord Edgar Downie Pier are complete. The new waterfront park has become an iconic spot in Kingston for tourists and locals of all ages. A beautiful sand beach with new steps down to the water as well as a bridge to connect the pier to the swimming area were constructed. Every sunny day since opening there has been hundreds of people enjoying the waterfront and jumping off the pier.
I was able to attend the Grand Opening in style on the 18m Diablo. It has been a pleasure to see the city of Kingston make huge improvements to our waterfront and I look forward seeing everyone enjoy the water as much as I do.
