Outer Banks/ Hatteras North Carolina

As the water and air temperatures tend to be quite cold in Kingston for the month of May, I planned a trip south with some friends. Myself and 11 close friends drove 14 hours south to The Outer Banks of North Carolina, also known as Cape Hatteras.

Hatteras is a wonderful destination for kiteboarding due to the reliable wind conditions and the shallow water depths which make it easier for beginners. My focus of the week was to gain greater confidence in my kite control through practicing my freestyle skills.

With ideal conditions and great company it made for a spectacular week away from the cold.
